Associated Control Service Elements ACSE belongs to the application layer protocol in the OSI model, primarily used to establish and release application associations between two AEIs and decide to associate Application Contexts. ACSE supports two communication modes: Connection-Oriented and ConnectionLess. For connection mode, the establishment and release of the application is referred to the connection service for ACSE. For connectionless mode, application association exists in a single ACSE-free connection mode service, A-Unit-Data.
By means supporting the service service, it is described as a pair of applications (AP: Application Processes) in a pair of applications (AP: Application Processes). The AE feature can be broken down into a large number of application service elements (ASE: Application Service Elements). Interactive features between AES are determined according to ASE service. This functional service provides conceptual modeling of application associations and application environments.
Application is related to a collaborative relationship between two Aeis. It provides reference frames for two AEIs such that interactions between AEI are more effective. This collaborative relationship is established in communication between application protocol control information between AEI by means of supporting service service.
