First, install network hardware

Second, install network file servers (fast installation method)
1. Install and set the hard disk and optical drive on the server

3. Establish a basic DOS partition (at least 5m) with fdisk
4, restart the computer, format the partition with Format C: / S / U
5. Create a network directory in C: disk (MD C: /Server.312)
6, put into the network (Novell3.12) Install the disc
7, copy network installation files to C: disk network directory
(Copy D: /netware3.12/system_1 c: /server.312)

8, go to C: disk network directory server.312, run server.exe
9, enter the file server name (such as: LC)
10. Enter the IPX internal network number (such as: 1)

13, connection communication protocol (Bind IPX to NE2000 Enter)

15. Load the installation general purpose menu (Load Install Enter)

18, create an automatic execution file (select system options-> create autoexec.ncf file-> Press ESC button -> Enter)
19, create a startup file (select system options-> create startup.ncf file-> Enter -> Press ESC Key -> Enter)
20, install NOVERLL software (select System Options-> Copy System and Public Files)
Press F6 key to set the path to D: /NetWare3.12, Enter)
21. Restart the server after copying.
22. Establish a self-motion batch file autoexec.bat
Copy Con C: /autoexec.bat (Enter)
CD C: / Server (Enter)

Third, install the DOS-free workstation:
Requirements: Insert a block with a startup tablet on the workstation
Prepare a network boot floppy disk
Network boot floppy disk includes content:
DOS startup file

6. Himem.sys (high-end memory file)
installation steps:

Need hardware:
At least three computers:

A Win95 with disk workstation
A diskless workstation
installation steps:
First, install Novell3.12 servers and DOS-free workstations

Enable the server to support long file names:

: add name space os2 to user (volume name)
Modify autoexec.ncf file
Added: loading ne2000
Brind IPX to P2
Load RPL
Bind rpl to p2
Modify the Startup.ncf file:

Second, install the Windows shared directory on the server
1 Log in to the Novell network from a disk Win95 workstation with Supervisor users

2 Put Win95 full version installation CD, run in the CD
/Admin/nettools/netsetup/netsetup.exe

V. Set WIN95 free boot

6. Add other workstations
1. Run netsetup.exe on the disk Win95 workstation
