Shark fully follows WFMC and OMG standards:
l Use XPDL as a local workflow definition criterion
l SHARK cores can be applied to different environments: web applications, Swing applications, CORBA services deployment, EJB containers.
l has a very good configurability, and its internal interface can be replaced with other implementations.
l can be applied to different virtual machines
L it provides a CORBA interface that communicates with the CORBA service via its CORBA client.
l You can use LDAP to organize structural configuration (specific implementation using Shark UserGroup and Authentication Components)
l Do not use XPDL extended properties
l Its interface allows external transactions
l It uses DODS, so it supports most database systems
