This research report shows that Linux users have a loyalty of 94 percent. Microsoft's Windows users are 86 percent. Unix is 82 percent. Novell's user's loyalty is only 58 percent.
Avneesh Saxena from the vice president of the IDC Asia Pacific said, usually, the user will not easily replace the operating system. However, this research report shows that Novell's NetWare user loyalty is only 58 percent. To this end, Novell explained that since 1994 to 2002, NetWare's market share has been declining, and small business customers have turned to a more cheap operating system such as Microsoft's NT Server.
