These days have been getting BizTalk Server 2004, and I feel a lot of trouble in deployment, so write some things.
Since I was not very familiar with AD, I have gone a lot of bending in the deployment process, which seems to be very important for us developer in contact with IT PRO.
First talk about my deployment environment, I am using Windows2003 VS.Net2003 SQL Server2000SP3a on the virtual machine to install BizTalk2004, about some of the rest, I have written in the previous installation, everyone can refer to :
A First Look at BizTalk Server 2004 (1.Installation) http://www.ceocio.net/content, 2004, 10, 15, 38.aspx
Some specific deployment considerations I will not mention it here. You can see the deployment manual. Here is the main question I have encountered:
1, the EDI SUBSYSTEM USERS user group cannot specify, prompt error?
The test can be passed in the non-AD environment in this unit, but in the AD, this error is prompted on the DC (domain controller).
Search the network, see this essay in the form of Feedback in this question: http://blog.joycode.com/Joy/archive/2004/04/09/18696.aspx At the same time, Liang Zheni to himself Establish a user group. So manually establish an EDI Subsystem Users group, the type is a global security group, and a Windows domain account is partially restructed. The following steps are more prone to problems: Generally you specify this group, you will enter the group name or click "Browse" to select this user group, but this time you will find the "domain" or this machine will find the EDI Subsystem UserS group But it seems that you must use the domain group in the DC to use (ie, write to this form: Domain Name / Group Name).
2. The deployment phase prompts unable to connect the SSO server (service timeout) or cannot generate the main key?
In my environment, if the account for the SSO Administrator group is not an Administrator group member (non-built-in), it will prompt the incorrect above, of course, I don't know the problem, because Microsoft does not propose the account with Administrator privileges to be set to membership SSO Administrator group, but not so specified? Maybe it is also worth discussing? ? ?
The above is that I have gone some revelations, and I will further introduce some detailed things tomorrow.
