When the primary programmer phase, I feel that VB can make a good application. When you arrive at the intermediate programmer, you will not choose VB and may use MFC. When I arrived at the advanced programmer, I won't consider what tools used, and what is absolutely considered is a method of solving the problem with the fastest efficiency, the most stable performance. I think "I am the program, the program is me."
