If you install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 BATA1 version, then install SQL Server 2005 BATA2. You will be prompted to delete the original SQL Server component when installing. (Even if you have never installed SQL Server, you will prompt).
The reason is that the CLR Version of Visual Studio 2005 BATA1 is 2.0.40607.16, SQL Server 2005 Bata2 version of CLR Version is 2.0.40607.42
Workaround: First remove the Framework of the Visual Studio 2005 BATA1 version, run the DotNetfx.exe on the Visual Studio 2005 BATA1 installation disc. Then install the SQL Server 2005 BATA2 version
