In a marketing event in New York on February 25, Salesforce, headquartered in San Francisco, USA, announced that IBM and SYBASE form a technology alliance.
According to the agreement signed with IBM, Salesforce can use IBM's WebSphere Application Server Software and Development Toolbots to customize their customer service and sales products. Especially IBM tools can help companies deliver customers and sales information between Salesforce systems with other business systems.
By alliances with Sybase, Salesforce plans to make customers more easily using Sybase IQ to analyze customers and sales data in their programs. Customers can also use Sybase's replication server programs to deliver data between Salesforce and other systems.
