Last week OMG adopted the proposal of the UML2 Superstructure. In fact, this means UML2 has passed. There are many modifications in UML2 - it represents the largest inspection since UML since its advent.
For ordinary users, most significant changes are too:
* The "Interaction Frame" identification is added in the sequence diagram. * Collaboration Diagrams is renamed a communication map (Communication Diagrams). * Active diagram is no longer a special case of the status map - there is a lot of new things. * Added a logo designed for composite structural design, using this identity, user can grade the class (hierarchically).
