Dr. Ivar Jacobson is the inventor of the Objectory method, as well as the founder of the Objectory AB, Sweden. He served as Vice President of the Rational Business Engineering department, where he was responsible for the development of UML. Ivar Jacobson is very famous in this frontier field, and he has more than 25 years of experience in using an object method to design large real-time systems. A large number of work is also made in large-scale architecture reuse, which is a key factor in the success of Ericsson's AXE remote communication switch.
Dr. Jacobson is the lead author of two best-selling books of far-reaching impact: - Benefits (1992 Productivity Award winner computer language) and "object" object-oriented software engineering one kind Case Driven Approach "- using object technology business process re engineering". He also wrote a book about software reuse. In addition, he has published some broad references related to object technology. The most famous is his first OOPSLA '87 papers, entitled "object-oriented development in industrial environments."
