When using Windows 2000 / XP, we need to log in with your account. If Windows verifies the password we entered (if the password is set) correct, let us log in to the desktop and give relevant permissions according to the type of account. . For example, if we log in using the administrator account, we can modify all the settings of the system and access any files allowed to access; but if we use the guest account to log in, it may only simply run the installed program. And create your own files, and you cannot access the files without permissions. Another situation is to forget the password, there may be many people to encounter this problem, forget the password of the only administrator account on your computer. If so before, we can also reset the account password with software such as Erd Commander or O & O Bluecon, but these are worthless business software, and they can never have domestic.
Now we have new choices: DreampackPL, a powerful and free software. With this software, we can bypass Windows identity authentication, log in to the system with this account without knowing a account password, or running the software in the system before logging in. The software is currently supporting Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.
This software with only 76kb size can be downloaded free of charge in its homepage, in addition to this, we need to prepare a Windows 2000 or XP installation disc and CD burner. If everything is ready, then start.
First, you need to have a computer running Windows XP or Windows 2000, and put the Windows 2000 / XP installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. Unzip the downloaded software into a convenient location on the hard disk, then run the DREAMPACK.EXE file, you can see the interface.
In this interface, select the CD-ROM drive of the Windows Installation CD, then click the "Make ISO CD Image" button, the program will create an disc image of the ISO format and you need to specify the directory of the mirror file. After creating, use the disc burn software to burn the mirror file to the disc and use this CD to boot the computer.
It should be noted here that we need to burn this image file directly, not what software uses the files in the ISO mirror to burn it, because you want to use the CD to boot your computer, and only the disc that directly burn the mirror file will not lose the boot file. Take Nero Burning ROM 6 as an example, we just select "Burning Image File" under the "Burner" menu (Figure 2), then select the ISO file previously created.
The following operations will be made on a computer installed on Windows XP Professional SP1. Put the CD that is prepared in advance into the CD-ROM drive, and then set the BIOS from the CD boot system, and Windows installer will run automatically. When the interface shown in Figure three appears, press the R key to enter the fault recovery console (Windows 2000 and Windows XP only have little different here in the failure recovery console).
The installer then automatically displays all the installed Windows operating systems, using the numeric keys to select the fault recovery console of the operating system you want to enter, then press Enter. When you need to enter an administrator password, we don't have to worry, we don't know what your password is, but we want to press it directly to use it directly :). Then enter the System32 folder: CD System32, and rename the file sfcfiles.dll in this directory to another name: Ren sfcfiles.dll sfcfiles.lld. Then we copy the file Pinball.ex_ to the System32 folder from the CD, and name SFCFiles.dll: Copy D: / i386 / Pinball.ex_ sfcfiles.dll. The previous work has been completed, take it out, then enter the exit command to exit the console and restart the computer. Everything made by the above is just to replace the SFCFiles.dll file in the system, so if your operating system is installed on the partition of the FAT32 file system, it is simpler, just use the Windows 98 boot disk to boot the computer into DOS, and DOS uses the SFCFiles.dll file in the DreamPackPL software compressed package to replace the original same name files in the System32 directory (note do not forgetting the Windows file love protection, the backup file is also replaced).
After restarting your computer to the welcome screen, you will find a new window (Figure 4), in order to explain how the software is used, we use several examples to demonstrate.

Forgot the password of the administrator account in the computer. Then click on the "Details" button on the interface displayed in Figure 4, then you can see the interface of Figure 5, this is similar to the usual account management interface, select the account you want to change the password, then click "Reset Password below the window) "Buttons, enter the new password, click OK.

I am using a restricted account on the computer. Many software cannot be installed, and some system settings cannot be modified. If I want to quietly install a software in the case of the administrator, or modify the system's settings, then "<< System Privileges >>" one item "" << System Privileges >> "can be selected on the interface of Figure 4, and then click" Spirit Mode button, the system will automatically use a temporary account with administrative privileges. After opening the start menu, we can see that the account we log in is "System", but there is no configure file for the account under the user profile, so it is not worried that it will be found after use (Figure 6). At the same time, there is a "CHANGE Desktop" toolbar button on the desktop. When we complete the task, you can click the button to return to the welcome screen.
If other accounts are selected on the local accounts list, and cancel the selection of the Logon Password Check check box, and click OK in the subsequent prompt dialog box, you will be able to log in to the system directly after restarting your computer. No need to enter a password. In this case, the email saved in Outlook or OE under this account, the web page password saved in IE, all private documents, you can directly view, modify or delete, but it is an exception, That is the EFS encrypted file. Because we can only bypass system authentication through DreamPackPL in Windows 2000, use other accounts to log in and access to files using EFS encryption, this feature does not support Windows XP. If you plan to stop using the account, and want to recover the password of the account, just cancel the account, then re-select the username of this account on the DreamPackPL interface on the welcome screen, then select the "Logon Password Check" check box and Confirm, the password can be restored after restarting. I want to directly modify some system settings directly on the computer, such as modifying the registry. This is more simple, click the drop-down menu below the DreamPackPL window, you will display the content shown in Figure 7, you can run multiple system common tools directly before the login system. For example, "console" can open the command line prompt, "regedit" can open the Registry Editor, "Task Manager" can open the task manager, "Sysedit" can open the system configuration editor, "Notepad" can open Notepad, And "Calculator" can open the calculator. Finally, if you still want to run other programs, just click "Other", then select the program you want to perform from the pop-up window, all Windows applications can be run directly under the welcome screen. But in use this feature, you cannot cancel the selection of the Logon Password Check check box.
After this operation, the interface of DreamPackPL will appear after each time you restart your computer or log out of the user. So in order not to let others find that after using it, please remember to cancel the selection of the "DREAMPACK" checkbox in the interface shown in Figure 4, then determine the uninstall. This interface will not appear again after restarting, and some people will know. But pay attention to that if you replace the SFCFiles.dll file, you do not name the original file backup to system32 / sfcfiles.lld, the program will try to recover the file from the cache of the system file. If you disable Windows file protection, automatic uninstall will not be completed, you need to reuse the fault recovery console or Windows 98 boot disk restore the original sfcfiles.dll file.
