OSI model
Send data, such as e-mail, which contains many things to do, a standard committee iso (Theinternational Organization for Standardization, International Standardization Organization) jujube proposes a list of function, and divides it into seven categories. These categories are the seven-layer model of OSI (Open SystemsInterConnection, open system interconnection) well known. It indicates that the sending data must be completed, but does not explain how to complete these things, but only what work is needed.
LAN technology: Ethernet (Ethernet) is the most common, other LAN technology includes Token Ring and FDDI. Token Ring is an IBM inventive, mainly used on the IBM site. FDDI is based on fiber optic technology and is at a speed of 100 Mbps.
