Project's permissions
Yesterday, I spent a day to study Project Server application mode and permission assignment. There are three structures in Project Server to control permissions.
First include users and groups, you can directly select their global permissions, which means that can be used to log in, which features can be opened, all through global permissions. And it also provides several security templates.
In addition, it provides a Category of Dongdong, which has not seen it in the past applications, so it is also the stuff that I don't understand. After some study, I probably understand its role, it can be seen as filtering conditions. For example, everyone is a project manager, then everyone has access to the project center to check the project, what can they only see their respective projects? This is the role of the category. The same permissions are specified in the category, you can see those who meet the requirements, for example, which projects you can see, you can see which views, etc.
