Nine years ago, when I started learning Java, I didn't think of this language will bring me the glory of the competition championship; six years ago, I got the first session of the Tsinghua University Information Engineering Institute and the companions. When the champion of the Java competition, I didn't think this glory will bring the O'Reilly publishing house in the future; five years ago, when I started to open the Sleepless in Java column in the Taiwan O'Reilly website, I did not expect this. After the article, the book will be published; two years ago, when Sleepless in Java was published in Taiwan, I did not expect this essay-ethnic book, and later published in the mainland. After all, this book is involved in many Taiwan's current events and a large number of unique flutters unique to Taiwan. A year ago, when Sleepless in Java was published in the mainland, I didn't think of the book will be sold well. I am afraid that the book is not selling well. The person in charge of the Publishing House will list me as a box office to poison, refused. ... and Today, I found that the simplified version of this book is very good, and even revised and resembled!
The development of many things is not what they can expect. I am not a person who has a heart to climb, I just do what I want to do, but the old man is obviously good for me, what many things I have done, have some good results come out for a few years. What's better is that many people like me. Over the years, I have received encouragement of many readers, although I have failed to reply one by one, but I am grateful for every reader.
Like the first edition of this book, all the feasants still donated to Beijing hopes to project, thinking that the use of children's education, donation is still handled by the publishing society. I hope to remind everyone that we are all happy people, there are still many unfortunate people in the world who need us to bring them hope. IT technicians don't have to be a profit is a picture, and the camp is camp to private interests, we can also feel very sensible, very fragrant. While we pay, our soul will be more rich.
The re-edition of this book, I want to thank all the colleagues of the Publishing House, and they must also thank Zhou Si sister to participate in the editor, plus the annotations of the mainland for many Taiwan's vocabulary to facilitate the reading of mainland readers.
