I have recently borrowed a very good DVD movie, I want to keep it down, but unfortunately there is no DVD burner, so I decided to compress the most compressed RM format to save it to the CD. ^ _ ^ I have found a lot of tools online, but it seems that there is no direct conversion. Even if there is, the effect of converting is not acceptable for this DVD, so I have to use more my heart. . After reading a lot of many articles and related discussions, I finally found the best set of plans. Let's share it with you:
Terminal:
a) Vob file: Files of video and audio in DVD are equivalent to the movie itself.
b) IFO file: Description file of DVD.
2. Download Tools:
a) DVD Decrypter: The best DVD Ripper, you can copy any DVD (including encrypted) into the hard disk and merge all DVD pieces (VOB files) into a file in this process to convert RM.
b) VOBSUB: If you want your RM, you must use this, use it to extract the subtitle, then do it automatically start and add subtitles to the conversion file.
c) RealProducer Plus 10: Want to convert the best RM requires the latest RM format, which is of course the latest RM10 for the current, which is the kernel of the conversion.
d) Easy realmedia producer: We need a VOB decoder when we switch, otherwise RealProducer cannot convert VOB files. This software comes with the decoder we need, and it is more convenient than REALPRODUCER, and there is a lot of well-used compression options, so we need to install this gadget. However, it is based on the REALPRODUCER's kernel, so we also need to install RealProducer. The good news is that this software can specify which version of the kernel that uses it and fully supports RM10.
3. Conversion step description:
a) Use DVD Decrypter to specify the DVD RIP to the hard disk and specify whether to divide when RIP, which automatically "merge" into a hard disk, and it will also put the IFO file RIP to the same folder.
b) Turn on the IFO file on the hard disk with VOBSUB Configure, select the Storage Folder (suggest below the folder of the IFO file) to set the subtitle, such as subtitle color, subtitle position adjustment, etc.
c) Rename the VOB file with the IFO file as the same name because the conversion requires their name.
d) Run Easy RealMedia Producer Load VOB files, sets the RM version and compressed option and perform file conversion.
e) long wait ...
f) OK, enjoy it! ^ _ ^
4. Step by step:
a) Switch to IFO in running the DVD Decrypter, the MODE menu, which is where the DVD movie information is stored.

b) Select the main movie as shown in Figure 2, which will automatically select the main movie portion without selecting other pieces (beginning, end, Director Cut, etc.).
figure 2
c) Menu Tools Select Settings ..., then set up as shown in Figure 3, as long as you set it once, you will not be set. The important part of this is file splitting, which is set to None does not divide multiple VOB files when RIP, and only one large VOB file is easy to convert. image 3
d) Now you can start RIP as long as you choose the storage directory on your hard disk, that is, the part below Figure 1.
e) Open VOBSUB Configure.
f) Select Open and open the IFO file that is just RIP.
g) Select the subtitles you need in the drop-down list box. You can play with playing software to play the DVD to see which is the subtitles you want.

h) On the left of Figure 4 You can set the color of the subtitle and transparency, and your right side you can set the offset and zoom.
i) After all set, select OK, and it is completed to this subtitle file.
j) Open that stored directory and unify the name of the VOB file and the IFO file.
k) Open Easy RealMedia Producer to add a VOB file.
l) Setting the encoding parameters, the RM version naturally uses the highest, wants to have good quality, and the average rate cannot be less than 450kbps.

m) Ok, now you can start compression, the compressed time is very long, the CPU is not enough friend, don't try it.
The experience is here, if you have better ways, please tell me, good things must share it! ^ _ ^
