Simple backup restore method for Windows SharePoint Services Site

Backup site:
Run the command line in the machine running WSS, go to the following directory C: / program files / common files / microsoft shared / web server extensions / 60 / bin, then run the following command stsadm.exe -o backup -url http: // CompanyWeb -FileName Target.bat path -overwrite, where -url is the address to be backed, Target.bat is the name of the file you want to back up. When the hard disk light flashes about half an hour (look at the site size), a .bat's file is generated, in that directory, copy it, save it.
Restore site:
First do the following preparation: 1. If you are a new WSS site, you can restore it. 2. If there is already a WSS site, and I want to overwrite the existing site with the backup, first enter the SharePoint Management Center, select Configure Virtual Server Settings, select the virtual server you want to restore, delete Windows SharePoint Services on the virtual server in the virtual server. And delete together with the content database, then re-extend this virtual server, become a new empty WSS site, you can start restoring.
Turn the backup file into the path described above, then enter the path on the command line, run the command line stsadm.exe -o restore -URL http: // companyweb -filename target.bat path -overwrite, wait for the hard disk to flash more than 1 more After the hour (I usually think of the dead machine), the command line shows success, OK, open IE, visit, is it coming back? Very convenient, backup recovery is only 2-3 steps, huh, huh!
