Many computers are now installed in the Windows XP operating system, but I accidentally forgot what to do if the system login user password is? And there is no corresponding emergency disk in installation, so I find the author to solve this problem. After a variety of ways, I finally found two ways to solve the problem, and now introduce these two methods: (Assume that the user name is XYZ)
First, use the net command
We know that the "Net User" command is provided in Windows XP, which can be added, modify user account information, whose syntax format is:
Net user [username [password | *] [options> [/ domain]
Net user [username {password | *} / add [options] [/ domain]
Net user [username [/ delete] [/ domain>
The specific meaning of each parameter has been detailed in Windows XP Help, which is not described more in this author. Ok, we now use the "XYZ" password to restore the local user as an example, the step of solving the login password:
1. Restart the computer, immediately press the F8 key immediately after the startup screen appears, select "Security Mode with Command Line".
2. At the end of the running process, the system lists the system superuser "administrator" and the local user "XYZ" selection menu, the mouse click "Administrator", and enter the command line mode.
3. Type the command: "Net user xyz 123456 / add", enforce the password of the "XYZ" user to "123456". If you want to add a new user here (such as the username ABCDEF, the password is 123456), type "Net User Abcdef 123456 / Add", and then use the "NET localgroup administrators abcdef / add" command to increase the user as the system. Manage the user of the "administrators" and make it superior.
4. Restart the computer, select the normal mode to run, you can log in to "XYZ" users with the changed password "123456".
Second, use "administrator"
We know that during the installation of Windows XP, you should first log in with "Administrator", and then create a new account so that you will use this new account to log in when you enter Windows XP, and only create it in the login interface of Windows XP. This user account does not appear "Administrator", but actually the "administrator" account is still present, and the password is empty.
When we understand this, if you forget the login password, press and hold the Ctrl Alt button on the login interface, then press the DEL button twice, you can display the classic login screen, type in the user name "Administrator", password is empty, then modify the password of "XYZ".
