After writing JCUTTER, I always feel that if it only allows it to run on Windows, I lost the meaning of writing programs with Java, in order to reflect the characteristics of cross-platform.
Reporting a curious attitude, the first time I have run the Java program you wrote under Linux.
1. Download and install VMware 4.5.2 and create a virtual machine.
2, install Mandrake Linux under the virtual machine.
3, download the J2Re or JDK for Linux version, because it is not intended to be programmed under Linux, only in the Linux test, so I've been J2RE-1_4_2_05-Linux-i586-rpm.bin.
4. Perform J2RE-1_4_2_05-Linux-i586-rpm.bin, and install the solution J2RE-1_4_2_05-Linux-I586.rpm.
5. Set the Java_Home, JRE_HOME, ClassPath, and PATH variables using Export.
6. Because of the virtual machine used, JCUTTER. JAR is downloaded from the host machine (XP) using the GFTP under Linux.
7, run the program using the Java-Jar JCutter.jar.
8. After running, the Chinese support is not very good. I use the Linux version is also relatively low. I want to have Chinese issues in Red Hat 10, and the screenshots are as follows:
