I saw news.com's report "Microsoft to Show Off Team Tools" mentioned Microsoft to launch the updated version of Visual Studio 2005 Beta1 next month. The updated reason is that the TEAM SYSTEM and Team Foundation Server are not included in the Beta1. Because refresh adds these components, its official name is called "Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 Refresh with the team system".
The source of this report is Microsoft's Rick Laplante's blog name called Summer Time, Summer Time ... I have gained the latest buildings with the Rick, and it should be an upcoming version.
I installed this Refresh version on a Windows XP partition that is mainly used to install Longhorn. It is indeed a lot more stable than May's Preview versions. But it is still different from the current beta1, and some user interfaces are not smooth enough.
The content I will prepare for the demo on Tech ED, trying to walk over again, and its performance is not as satisfied with my current Beta1. I decided to use Beta1 on the notebook on the Teched on TECHED. (Fortunately, I haven't started reformatting the notebook yet.)
For more introductions for Team System, it will be after Tech Ed.
