Command name and code
The corresponding command name and code are as follows: Extended-options-list (exopl) 255
2. Command role
* Iac Do Exopl
The sender requires the recipient to perform a Telnet option session for the extended option list, or determine that the recipient looks forward to start a Telnet option session for the extended option list.
* IAC WILL EXOPL
The sender requests to allow the option to start on the extended option list, or determine that this session will begin.
* IAC Won't exopl
The sender does not want to sessions on the options for the extended option table, nor does it want to continue such a session.
* Iac Don't exopl
The sender requires the recipient to perform sessions on the options on the extended option list.
* IAC SB EXOPL
Subcommand includes some information that is necessary for the session of the option in the extended option table. As for the format of Subcommand, it will be discussed in the later part of this article.
3. Default
The default is: Won't exopl, don't exopl, indicating that the session is not performed in the list of extended options.
4. The reason for the appearance of options
We need the 257th Telnet option, which allows us to add an option list to another 256, which is suitable for future use.
5. Abstract description of the option
EXOPL has 5 subcommand: Will, Won't, do, don't, and sb. They are the same meaning as the Telnet command of the same name, and the usage is not much. To be consistent, these subcommand also have the same value as the Telnet command code, so the session format for the specific option for the extended option list is as follows:
IAC SB EXOPL DO / DON't / WILL / WON'T /
When both parties agree to use the options described in
IAC SB EXOPL SB
