The W3C technology architecture diagram depicts a two-layer model: the World Wide Web Architecture (being labeled "One Web") is built on the Internet architecture. The rich Web layer shows the technology of W3C care and development technology.

The web architecture is depicted into a series of layers, each layer is built on the other. From the bottom to the top:

URI / IRI, HTTP Web Architectural Principles XML InfoseTs; RDF (S) Graphs XML, Namespaces, Schemas, XQuery / XPath, XSLT, DOM, XML Base, XPointer, RDF / XML, Sparql

In the top layer contains six boxes, corresponding to the W3C's main activity group: Web Applications, Mobile, Voice, Web Services, Semantic Web, and Privacy.

"Interaction" boxes in the box: XHTML, SVG, CDF, SMIL, XForms, CSS, and WCID. "Mobile" boxes in the box in the box Russencing XHTML Basic, Mobile Svg, SMIL Mobile, XForms Basic, CSS Mobile, MWI BP. "Voice" box Roller Rolver, and the And Emma "Web Services" boxes in the box in the box in the box in the box, "Web Services" boxes, Soap, XOP, WSDL, WS-CDL, And WS-a. "Semantic Web" boxes in the box Russen, SKOS, And Rif. "Privacy" box in the box, in the box, in the box, P3P, APPEL, XML Encryption, XML Signature, And Xkms

An orange horizontal strip links these fields together: Web Accessibility, Internationalization, Mobile Access, Device Independence, and Quality Assurance.

This example shows the work focus of the basic framework and W3C of the World Wide Web.

The basics of URI, HTTP, XML and RDF support five aspects of work. The subject of accessible web, internationalization, equipment, and quality management has been integrated into the technical technology of W3C.

W3C is actually converting the World Wide Net from the original design (basic HTML, URIS, and HTTP) to the model required for the future. W3C technology will help future web a basic framework for high stability, improvement and strong adaptability in the information world.
