Enterprise-level database environment?
I would like to ask a typical enterprise database environment, what is the pressure, that is, what is the (enterprise-level) project, the number of concurrent connections, how much data record is, what OS, and how much system load . I think, discuss this is a good thing, which is conducive to our planning of the entire database project. We have to be an enterprise-class database system. Please let me give a look, even if it is a survey :)

For a project, the database is just part, and even half is not on. But usually, a company, a project, what kind of hardware, Software, people we doing technology can only provide reference views, there is no way to make decisions. For the Database used, we recommend several basic points: first, the APPLICATION used by the front desk. Is Client / Server Mode, or Web Base Application, what Database supports in front desk. Second, how many Database end users? Database expects how big, daily growth, monthly growth, how much is the daily transactions, how much is the average? Third, how much is the Project budget. To do technology, you must measure problems, you can't use your own preferences or bias. However, sometimes it is an AIX or Solaris, you can bring your own opinion, and you can make a lot of OS you are familiar with.
