Introduction:
Today, many managers expect software testing automation to become a silver bomb, solve the test schedule, test cost, track report, etc. It is certain that the automation test has affected many fields, and many successful cases have given us hope that automation tests can save money and solve some test problems. Unfortunately there are many stories that fail, even if there is any disappointment and bad feelings in the case where the automation test has benefited. This article also explains that it is difficult to introduce financial equation and positioning of usual error management methods, or it is almost impossible, this problem contains test automation (development).

The potential advantage of automation is to change the product's testing and process flow for development, release. These effects must consider those affirmative and negative constituent elements.
There must be actual expectations and understanding of automated testing on management. It is the key to success. If the number of management needs, we can easily provide cost analysis for automated proposals. Tool manufacturers and experts promote their testing automation strategy to provide good materials and customer examples to prove that they are almost applicable. Experience tells me that these scams outline the upcoming cost and revenue real relationship with the automation, and how to use them better. Criticism believes that test automation is better than other methods. Automation only means helping us to achieve tasks - test products. Automation itself does not work but more beneficial than other test types than other test types. Cost gain analysis is provided to us useful for information on how the best management and investment tests.
