Note: Statspack does not access all the information needed to fully analyze performance issues. In particular, the problem is exterior outside DISK, RAM, CPU, and NetWork.

Classification of the StatsPack table

A: Control Table: Stats $ Database_Instance, Stats $ SNAPSHOT

B: Parameter table: stats $ statspack_parameter

C: Detail Table: Other Stats $ Table

Classification of detail table

A: Summary of reporting system range overview data

B: System Table containing Oracle instance information within the system

C: Transaction table containing Oracle transaction processing information

D: Record an event table for Oracle system events

It can be said that the content of the detail table is expanded around the Stats $ Snapshot table.

I always feel that the application of Statspack is mainly based on the StatsPack report, as for the specific details table, according to the name of the detail table, it can understand its content, and it is not necessary to thoroughly understand the structure of the detail table. And different versions of Oracle have corresponding modifications for the structure of these tables. All, here the structure and corresponding content of the table are omitted ...

For example: You see Stats $ SQL_SUMMARY, you will definitely think that it should be a statistical table about the SQL statement. The overall feeling is that the details of the detail table are not necessarily necessary, at least there is no need to level in my understanding.
