Crystal Reports provides quasi-line to assist you accurately align, move objects and adjust the size of the report object. Quasi-line is some non-print lines that can be placed in any location on the Design tab and the Preview tab to help align. They have alignment properties that automatically align them.

View Quasi-Line 1. On the File menu, click Options. The Options dialog box appears. 2. In the Layout tab, select the "Quasi-line" check box and / or "preview" check box in the "Preview" check box. 3. Click "OK" to save your changes.
Tip: Another approach is to select the "Quasi line" command on the View menu.
For more information, see Using Quasi-Line Design. ---------------------------------- Two, inserting the quasi-line although you should also insert when you need it Line, Crystal Reports still automatically inserts the quasi-line in a specific situation: Whenever a field or formula field is added to the report, the program creates a quasi line at the left edge of the field box and aligns the fields and field titles. When the field is summarized, the program will summarize the same quarter to ensure the correct alignment. When right-click the shadow area on the left side of a section, then select the "Range" option from the shortcut menu, the program creates one or more levels of horizontal lines in this section and aligns the fields to them.
Manually insert, move, and delete line 1. In the Design or Preview tab, click the tab at the top to activate the vertical line; click the ruler on the left to activate the horizontal line. Note that each quasi-line is connected to an arrow on its start calibration. Note: If you are not displayed, make sure that the appropriate "Quasi line" option is selected on the View menu. On the Preview tab, you must select an object to see the quasi-line. 2. To place the quasi-line to the target position, drag the arrow along the ruler to the appropriate location. 3. To delete the quasi-line, drag the arrow out of the ruler.
Note: If the "Grid Line Align" option is selected, you can only insert or move the line with grid increment.

Alignment functions not only allow you to accurately align objects, but also you can reposition multiple objects simultaneously and resize. Once several objects are aligned with a quasi-line, you can move all objects by moving the quasi-line. 1. Align the top or bottom of the object to the horizontal quasi-line. 2, you can align the left side, right or middle vertical line of the object (the invisible line of the vertical distortion object) is aligned with the vertical line. Align the object to the quasi-line 1, insert a quasi-line by clicking a ruler. 2. Drag the report object to the quasi-line to let the objects fall on the quasi-line.
The alignment of the quasi-line is different from the role of the text-based objects that works to other objects such as OLE. When a line is aligned with the quasi-line object, the quasi-line alignment is the baseline of the text instead of the object box. When multi-line-based objects are aligned with the quasi-line, alignment with the quasi-line may be the baseline of the text or the object box. By viewing the special indicator (i.e., the point in the following) on the baseline on the "Design" view, you can determine whether the text-based object is aligned with the horizontal quasi-line. If the object is aligned with the vertical line, the special indicator will display along the side of the object.
To place a few font size different text objects and bring their baseline into a straight line, it is necessary to align the baseline of each object with the same level.

To move the quasi-line, drag your arrow along the ruler.
Note: When moving the quasi-line, all objects that are aligned are moved together. But if mobile is an object aligned with the quasi-line, the quasi is not moved.

The process of using two quasi-line adjustments in both cases is the same.
Use the quasi-line adjustment of the size of the object to create a quasi-line. 2. Align one end of the object with the quasi-line. 3. Create a second quasi line on the right side of the object. Note: This allowable line should not be contacted. 4. Click the object to activate the size adjustment handle. 5. Drag the adjustment size handle to the second quasi-line to allow the object to align the same line. 6. Repeat steps 2 to step 5 for each other object to be aligned with these two quasi-line. 7.
