One day, after you press the computer power switch, it is not as usual. After a flash, you will enter the system, but tell you that your system is broken. After a variety of ways to try to restore the system and fail, you are your most worry about your data.
I installed Sybase12, the system suddenly inexplicably broken. Because it is your own machine, I installed all the software to the D disk, which is really helping me. It can be seen that a good habit is very important.
After I reinstall the system, the database is definitely can't be used, but can you recover? My most concerned is my data. When you think of Oracle, there is a way to recover, which is to replace the database system in the system, and then replace the data file that is reserved on the D disk, and the database is easy to use.
In this case, of course, it works. First copy the copy of the D disk to another; then take the last, including the name, select the directory, etc., install the Sybase server and the client, after the installation is successful.
I stop Sybase service, put the Data folder under the Sybase server directory under the original system (my environment is in d: / sybase / sybase_s / data, that is, the master device file) all copied to the same location of the new installation, then Restart Sybase service.
Restart success, gave a lot of confidence; see if the original database is coming out, enter Sybase Centrel, found that some now have it, ah, my god! Everything is OK.
I don't dare to share it, I would like to share with you, of course, this step, you can do other anly in accordance with your own situation.
