Let Pqmagic run in the Server version

Let PQMagic run in a disk scan in the server version, found G: Dish appeared badly, so I plan to use the pqmagic6.0 Chinese version to isolate the bad track in the g: zone to ensure that the bad track does not spread.

However, when I started PQMAGIC in DOS mode, the program did not run smoothly, but an error message appeared: "Partition Magic cannot run on Windows NTWINDOWS 2000 Server", and then the program is automatically exited after clicking OK. This problem is that I have not started, because I have been running pqmagic on a computer installed in Windows 2000 in the company, but I don't have this problem, but I remember that I have installed Windows 2000 Professional. And I installed now is a Server version. From the prompt, it is indeed incompatible phenomenon in PQMagic and Server version of Windows 2000. I initially judge that the guidance of the hard disk may be slightly different, causing this phenomenon, so I use Windows 98 boot disk. Boot to DOS, run Pamagic, but this time still has the same error prompt.

Since the boot process has nothing to do, it may be that the Server version exists in a file in the C-plate root directory (my Windows 2000 is installed in the F disk), so that pqmagic can't run, so I am backing up the C: Pan root directory After all the files, delete some of the C: disc in the disk one by one, and finally discovered that as long as the boot.ini file exists, pqmagic will not run normally. As long as I rename the boot.ini file, run PQMAGIC. There is no problem at all.

In order to figure out this problem, I have overridden the Boot.ini file on the hard disk, cover the same name file in my computer with the Boot.ini file in the company's computer, and then run pqmagic, This time it is indeed running normally. It seems that PQMagic is not working properly is the content of the boot.ini file, so I contracted two versions of the Boot.ini file. There are two parts: That is, Windows 2000. The version name ("Advanced Server" and "Professional"), I think PQMAGIC will not rely on the Boot.ini file to determine the version of Windows 2000, to determine if it is running, so I put the server version of Boot.ini "Advanced Server" in the file is changed to "Professional", but this PQMAGIC is still unable to run. Finally, there is a space before and after the "=" in the professional version, but there is no space on the server version, so I add these two spaces in the server version of the Boot.ini file, then run pqmagic, this time I finally didn't appear any error prompt.
