IBM DB2 UDB V7.1 for Winows NT / 2000 does not have a general report tool, but after installing DB2 OLAP Starter Kit, you can create a multi-dimensional database, then use Microsoft Excel 97/2000 or Lotus 1-2-3 to access data in the multi-dimensional database. And use Excel or Lotus 1-2-3 to perform report processing.
The first step is established Hyperion EssBase cubes.
1) Start the "OLAP Integration Server" desktop

5) The system automatically displays the Hyperion EssBase startup screen.
The third step is used to access analysis data with Excel and perform report processing.

Connection with database
