Recently, I have made an ASP.NET query item. I need to make a installer. I just found that Microsoft Visual Studio.net 2003 can be completely competent, then how can I get to be far! Oh, gossip less, come and see how I made it!
First, run Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003, click "File" → "New" → "Project", "Project Settings Dialog", as shown in Figure (1). Select "Install and Deploy Project", select "Web Installation Project" in the "Template" on the right. Fill in the project name in the "Name" fill in the box. Select the installer in the "Location" selection box to generate in that directory, or click "to select other directories, after the selection is complete, click" OK "button, the first step is completed. Right-click on the "Web Application Folder", select "Add" → "File" in the Right-click menu, as shown in Figure (2)
A file selection dialog appears, you can select multiple files, then click "Open", then the selected file will be displayed in the "Web Application Folder" directory. Use the same method, "BIN" directory point on the left "Web Application Folder", "Add" → "File" display file selection dialog, you can also select multiple files, select Bin in our ASP.NET project The file in the directory, click "Open" file appears in the project set directory.
Special note is two options in the "Web Application Folder" in the attribute menu in the lower right corner: (Figure 3)
VirtualDirectory: Sets the name of the application directory DefaultDocument: The default document is set. The "Generate" menu under the Generation menu can generate a solution in the initial defined working directory. Finally open the defined project work directory, open the "debug" directory, run setup.exe, huh, I saw it, the web installer is generated!
