This article mainly records several issues that I have learned from the 2004-3-3 to South China University of Technology to learn about Lei training, this document is divided into three parts:

I. LEI 6.5 foundation
1) What are the way Lotus and other data integration?
There are five kinds of Lotus companies integrated EI:

2) What is LEI?
The abbreviation of LEI full name Lotus Enterprise Integration (Lotus Enterprise Integration) is a tool for Lotus and other data integration.
3) What can LEI?
Ø Access to NSF, DB2, Oracle, Sysbase, Old-DB, ODBC, File, Text, and SAP R / 3, PeopleSoft, Oracle Applications
Ø Executive SQL Script
Ø Copy Notes and third-party databases timing
Ø You can transfer table records (documentation)

Second. LEI 6.5 practical drill
1. Install DB2 and create a Sample database
2. Install Domino 6.5
3. Install Notes 6.5 All installation (Lotus Notes Client 6.5 / Lotus Design 6.5 / Lotus Administrator 6.5)
4. Configuring a Domino server
5. Start Domino server
6. Configure Notes to connect the Domino server.
7. Install LEI 6.5
8. Launch Lotus Administrator, sign the decsadmin.nsf database
9. Set the server configuration document to set the agent in the security tab to *, save exit
10. Start LEI6.5
11. Launch Lotus Design,
a) Create an EMPLOYEE data,
b) Creating an Employee form in the database, create a field in the form and save the form, four fields:
i. Empno, Text type
II. firstnme, text type Download Adobe Reader
Iii. Lastname, TEXT type Download Adobe Reader
Iv. Salary, Number Type
c) Create a view Employeeview in the database,
i. Specify view select form = "EMPLOYEE",
II. Create a column in the view, specify four fields in the form, respectively.
Iii. Save view and exit
12. Launch Lotus Notes Client
13. Open the Lei Administrator database
a) Point the DB2 under the connection button,
i. Set up a name Connect to DB2, II. Enter Sample in the database
III. Enter db2admin in the username
Iv. Enter db2admin in user password
v. Select Administrator in the form of form
Vi. Select Employee in the name of the form.
VII. At this time, the form field is automatically added to the document, saves the document and exits.
b) Notes under the CONNECTION button
i. Get a name Connect to Domino
II. Enter the name of the Domino server in the server
Iii. Select Employee in the database
IV. Select Employee in the form
v. At this time, the fields in the form are automatically added to the document, select the available fields, save your document
c) Direct Transfer under the Activities
i. Get a name DB2 to Domino
II. Choose Connect to DB2 in the source
III. Choose Connect to Domino in the target
IV. Specify the correspondence between the table field and the Domino domain in the map
v. Enter SELECT EMPNO, FIRSTNME, Lastname, Salary from Administrator.employee in SQL statement
Vi. Save the document and exit
d) Select DB2 to Domino in the view, point the START button to start the data transfer.
14. Use the Lotus Notes Client to open the Employee database, check if the data has data, if there is, it is successful.

III. Question
1. When setting the DB2 database, can you choose a table?
A: This may have two questions, one is that the user name password of DB2 is wrong, so you can check if DB2 is available correctly.
1) Enter the DOS command window
2) Enter into the Domino installation directory
3) Perform NTCTEST
4) Select 6 for DB / 2 testing,
5) Enter users
6) Enter the password
7) If the screen is displayed, Connected Succeed is successful.
Second, the permissions to perform the connection agent are insufficient, open the server configuration document, set the agent execution permission in the security tab, can be set to *
2, when you choose the Domino database, you can't choose
A: Check if the Domino server name you entered is correct
3, select the Activities document, point START is not successful
A: Here the problem can appear in the execution permission, can be solved by setting the security in the server configuration document. If you are configured or not, select the LOG view of the Lei Administrator, view the error log, most of the case is the SQL statement is incorrect.
