Fourth part of Notify
PVCS Notify is an optional tool in the PVCS family that automatically notifies the relevant users in the form of E-mail in the PVCS Tracker.
PVCS Notify must be used in cooperation with PVCS Tracker.

Make installation.
Create a cm admin account in an enterprise internal mail system, configured to send a notification message by this account.
Configuring a mail account
Open PVCS Notify, select items in the project list,
If the mail server is used by Exchange Server, select Mapi Compiant.

Open the PVCS Tracker Admin, in the project, open USER,

For each user, some notification rules in this project can be customized, and in what circumstances are made to send a mail notification to the user.
Generally, notifications are often required for the following three cases:
N Notify Rules Description Meaning 1 Any Record User Become Ower Need to notify this user when the user is an Owner of a defect. 2 User is Submitter Change in Resolution When a defective resolution status is changed, inform the submitter. 3 User is Owner Record Is Closed When a defect is closed, notify this defect Owner.
