The demonstration of the original program code is compiled from the original program code, so your system must select the kit to install Software Development when installing. If there is no installation, the following two pages have an RPM file, which can be installed back.
First, please go to the Video Lan Client's download page: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download.html Tarballs retrieve the VLC-x.x.tar.gz (X.x.X version number) this original program file.
There is also a need for libdvdcss, please retrieve libdvdcss-y.y.y.tar.gz (y.y is version number) in Tarballs within http://www.videolan.org/libdvdcss/download.html.
Then I will unlock the libdvdcss - *. Tar.gz under your home directory (or any you feel convenient):
TAR ZXF libdvdcss-1.2.0.tar.gz
Will find a subdirectory of libdvdcss-1.2.0, after entering the subdirectory, execute
./configuremakemake install
The libdvdcss related files are generated and installed to your system.
Then go back to Home Directory (or anything you feel convenient) to unlock the VLC - *. Tar.gz:
TAR ZXF VLC-0.4.0.tar.gz
The subdirectory of VLC-0.4.0 will also generate the subdirectories, and after entering the subdirectory, the same steps are executed:
./configuremakemake install
Execute the VLC to view the VCD / DVD.
You can consider
LibDVDCSS-1.2.0
and
VLC-0.4.0
The subdirector is removed.
