IIS of the author's colleague's machine has recently issued a problem. Use "http: // localhost" or "http: // computer name" when accessing the local ASP file, but if you use "http://127.0.0.1" access If you pop up a dialog requires the password.
Because only use IP addresses, it is not a big problem. According to past experience, first look at "IUSR_ computer name" in the user group, "IWAM_ Computer Name" two accounts are disabled. The results found that the status was normal.
Next, IIS default website properties "Anonymous Access and Authentication Control" (in the "Directory Security" tab) one is accidentally disabled, and it is not disabled after opening the corresponding dialog. Is it a password that anonymous access account (IUSR_ computer name) is not synchronized with the password in the user group? After the synchronization is hand-made, the problem is still still.
IIS has a similar problem with these few, what else can you? No way, simply reload IIS! After a few minutes, IIS was installed, but a trial found that it is only used to use the IP address. The result is now not accessible to the computer name, always prompts DCOM errors. View the system log, displayed as "DCOM encountered error. Login failed: unknown username or error password".
In order to avoid reinstall the system, the author decided to find and fix this DCOM error. In the "Component Service" of the Control Panel, there is discovered that there is a red arrow sign on the "DCOM configuration", which cannot be opened normally. It seems that the problem is here. But how do you deal with? After several invalid attempts, the author finally found a solution: view the system's local service, discover DCOM normally; then view its dependencies, discovery to "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)" service; further view RPC Status, discovery status; then look at RPC's dependency, now the "Distributed Transaction Coordinator" service is forbidden, which is described as "coordinating transactions across multiple databases, message queues, file systems and other resource managers." After turning it, IIS can be accessed in a variety of ways.
Afterwards, the original colleague once saw an article that turned off Windows uncommon service, and then closed some of the services in the system, including the "Distributed Transaction Coordinator" service. In the future, if you want to close the unopened service to optimize the system, you should be careful, don't be allowed to be good.
Xiaobian Tip: DCOM is a distributed COM technology of Microsoft, which extends the component object model (COM) technology to support communication between different computer objects on the LAN, WAN, and even Internet.
RPC is a "Remote ProceSdure Call), which is a new function in the Windows XP system, allowing remote users to control local PCs to help local users solve problems. Last year, the famous impact wave virus was attacked using the RPC vulnerability of Windows XP.
