Many online chat software, such as QQ, ICQ, IRC, etc., providing Socks Proxy features, but although you have other agents such as HTTP Proxy, these chat programs cannot be connected to the server through agents. Now, you can use the Socks Online software, you can turn http proxy or other proxy to Socks Proxy! And the software is completely free, but also supports Windows 95/98 / NT / 2000 operating system, and it is very simple to use, almost no settings can be used.
Second, SOCKS ONLINE installation
Socks Online can be downloaded from http://www.qqer.com/oicq/. Socks online does not need any installation process, and then click Run SocksonLine.exe after downloading. The current version of Socks Online is 1.0 version, without any use restrictions.
To uninstall Socks Online is also quite simple, just remove the file.
Third, the configuration of SOCKS online
After double-click the running program, display the following screen:
If the prompt service is activated, the system is running normally. If there is an error in the startup process, please refer to the system's online help for error diagnosis, exclude.
Four, use of SOCKS Online
After Socks Online is started normally, the program becomes local SOCKS V5 Proxy, which can access the Internet via HTTP Proxy or other proxy. The address of this SOCKS Proxy is localhost: 1080 or 127.0.0.1:1080. The following is an example of QQ, and the usage of Socks Proxy will be described.
Use in QQ (OICQ)
Enter [System Parameters] through the QQ button, select the [Network Settings] tab in the [System Parameter] setting window. At the "proxy setting" tab of this interface, select "Use the SOCKS5 Proxy Server" to fill in LocalHost in the proxy server address bar, fill in the port number bar in 1080, as shown below:
Click OK. Loing QQ, then go online. Then you will find your QQ is already online!
