On Wednesday, Novell released a new Linux package to advanced home PC users.
In this package, there are several specially known Linux products, including OpenOffice desktop software (from OpenOffice.org), Firefox browser (Mozilla Foundation). Other products include mail clients, instant messaging tools, photo editing, multimedia players, mobile device support, and basic network functions. In addition, this Linux package also provides rich resources for advanced users, supporting the establishment of a home network, running a web server, and development applications. SUSE Linux Professional 9.3 also introduces many newest open source technologies, such as hybrid virtual technology (XEN), desktop search tool (BEAGLE), VOIP software (Linphone).
Currently, this package retail price is 99.95 $, gathers Novell's many latest products released in March this year.
