This time is quite depressed. It feels too boring this line, and it seems that the circle is getting smaller and smaller. Some of the projects have been written in some projects before, and they are also a summary and commemoration.
Current vendors have tried to use web-based applications for corporate management (eg enterprise resource planning ERP, project management EPM, customer relationship management CRM, material demand planning MRP ...) from these applications, It can generally be divided into C / S or B / S, where B / S is in the form of currently popular adoption, then I will first summarize the advantages of this web browser for the client:
· Use this architecture development application, no need to purchase or open hardware terminals, as long as there is a PC and an access to the Internet can be used.
· Software upgrades, maintenance work only must be performed on the server, no need to maintain each client.
· Compared with C / S, there is a more open standard, it is easier to implement cross-platform.
But it is not to say that using C / S is backward, the following is some advantages I summarized using C / S:
• Not limited by IE or other web browser, better combined with the operating system, such as control of peripheral hardware.
· Some functions can be run on the client machine, unlike the program of B / S, all of which are all requested to request server processing.
· Do not need to go to the Internet, the data is relatively stable and safe.
In general, both architectures have their own advantages and disadvantages, mainly to see what type of application is developed.
