My notebook is a soft ultra-thin, there is an external optical drive but cannot boot the system. It is originally WindowsMe system. Now I want to change to 2000, I didn't expect the problem.
I use the hard disk conversion card to hook the notebook hard drive on the desktop, partition C disk 5G, D disk 10g, format and pass the DOS system to the C drive, then copy the program under Win2000 I386 to the D disk, take back to notebook Installation, prompt cannot find the operating system, take back to the desktop, start the DOS normal.
Re-partition C <2G, the rest of the D disk, on c on sys, so that you can start entering DOS on the notebook, but you can't find the operating system when you need to restart during the 2000 installation process.
I have the same notebook there, the hard disk capacity is the same, I put his hard disk GHOS into disk mirror, then ghost to my hard drive, take it back to the notebook, also prompt the operating system. The blame is to put his hard drive to my notebook, and put my hard drive in his notebook, you can't find the operating system.
