Everyone knows that the main role of the copy command is to copy the file, but Do you know how much it is? In general, its merge file function is mainly used to merge the same type of file, such as incorporating two text files into a text file, combining two separate MPEG video files into a continuous video file. So, if you use it to merge two different types of files, what will the result? Take it together:

Let's save a text as a text file, assume that it is named 1.txt. Then find a non-text file, such as a picture or executable, assuming a picture called 2.jpg, putting them in the same folder. Then start the DOS window under Windows, go to the directory where the two files are located, type the following command and enter:

Copy 2.jpg / b 1.txt / a 3.jpg

The parameter / b is specified to copy, merge files in a binary format; parameter / a designation is copied, merge files in ASCII format. Here you should pay attention to the order of the file, the file in the binary format should be placed before the plus, and the file in the text format is placed behind the plus.

After executing this command, we will see a new file called 3.jpg in the current directory. Go back to Windows to open this file with image browsing software, you will find that it is the same as the display result of 2.jpg. Don't worry, then we will open it with Notepad 3.jpg (dragging the picture directly into the memo window), of course, you will first see a bunch of garbled, but when you press the Ctrl End Complex button Move to the end of the file ... Haha, yes, 1.TXT file 躺 躺 乖 乖!

With this method, you can easily hide some important information, such as user name, password, important private information, etc. However, it is necessary to remind everyone that the text file used for the merged text is best to keep more than 3 space lines to ensure that the merged files will not lose content.
