Try to use Eclipse M6

On Saturday, M6 has not been released. Don't go to work on Sunday, let alone, Ding Junhui hits Hendry, can't take care of Eclipse.

I went to work early in Monday, I finally saw M6 released, while downloading, look at New and Noteworthy, there is not much new thing, it is excited to be this article:

"Just before EclipseCON, the IBM Rational teams developing products based on Eclipse and Java technology reported that they ran the Java compiler TCK suite using the Eclipse Platform 3.1 N20050225-0010 build and verified that the Eclipse Java compiler passed and is 1.5 compliant."

That is, the Eclipse Java compiler has fully supported JDK 1.5. More 1.5 features have also been added in the JDT of M6 (if you recommend using DepRecated as annotation type, not written in javadoc).

Another new feature in PDE is a Wizard that comes to a PLUG-IN project: File> New> Project> Plug-in from existing Jar Archives.

As for the improvement of performance, under Windows XP and Redhat Linux, there is a substantial improvement, but common CVS Teams are still much slower than 3.0, hoping that the official release of M7 or 3.1 will resolve all performance issues.

Win XP Sun 1.4.2_06
