Customizing a Skin for the emulator

1. Create a .bmp file as the default emulator skin display.

2. Create a .bmp file to display the skin when the simulator button is pressed.

3. Create a .bmp file with a unique monochrome to display the area of each button.

If you want the colors of the buttons in the skin of the simulator to be different, you can use different colors to fill different buttons. However, it is recommended that you do not fill in the button area or black.

4. Create a .xml file. Want to know what information needs to contain the xml file, you can check the emulator skin xml schema.

5. Save the above three .bmp files and .xml files in the same directory.

6. Download an operating system image to the emulator. The Configure Startup Server dialog in Platform Manager 4.0 displays every skin found in its directory in a list of semicolons. This list can be found under the simulator's picture platform manager registry.
