According to the report, the pace of competitiveness in the central city in the eastern region, the central urban competitiveness in the northeast, central, and the western part is also accelerating, showing the policy of industrial transfer and the national implementation regional coordinated development. The competitiveness of the Yangtze River Triangle City has improved faster in the past two years. Among them, the fastest in Zhejiang, the city competitiveness in Shandong Peninsula region is significantly improved, and the competitiveness in the Pearl River Delta region has declined.

The report shows that urban competitiveness is relatively strong, and urban industrial clusters are relatively good, especially in the eastern small and medium-sized cities, competitive leaping promoters from the growth of industrial clusters. It can be seen that the industrial cluster is a shortcut in the city to achieve leapfrog development.
