US IBM will provide a wireless IC tag (RFID) management middleware to Germany, and supports RFID in the supply chain. This is revealed by IBM on July 7, Germany. The Metro Group began implementing the company's entire supply chain program from November 2004 to implement RFID. In the early days, 20 consumer suppliers will be installed in the product transport in Palette, which will be increased to 80 in 2005. IBM will provide Metro Group to "WebSphere" RFID and Data Management Solutions, and cooperate with the supplier process and Metro Group's supply chains. By achieving RFID, the product transportation will be quickly confirmed, regardless of the location of the transport process.
