The Bathing Network News Japanese Waste Management Company Kureha Environmental Engineering starts to test whether RFID can be used to track the medical waste. Kureha said that this is the first test of the first use of RFID tracking medical waste. The purpose of the test is to verify that the RFID tag technology is to effectively track them in the process of delivery of medical waste. The main goal is to use the tracking system to determine the responsibility of hospitals and transportation companies, prevent illegal to pour medical waste. The carton and plastic container used by Kureha will be equipped with RFID tags, and the signal receiving antenna will be installed in the IBM RFID Solution Center. The test will analyze the sensitivity of the signal and the data read accuracy parameters. The trial is expected to be carried out in early August. After success, the on-site test will followed by the Kureha's garbage disposal field. If everything goes well, the Kureha General Hospital of Fukushima, Japan will deploy the RFID system in the near future to track medical waste.
