★ NIC settings resource conflict processing method
NIC is very easy to conflict with other devices, especially if there are multiple interface cards in the system, resource conflicts often use the following methods.
Method 1: Select "Resources" in the "Resource Type" list of the "Network Card Properties" window "Resource" list, press the "Change Settings" button to change the conflicting IRQ interrupt number or I / O address;
Method 2: Early NIC often occupies IRQ3, and IRQ interrupt conflicts with COM2, if you don't use COM2, set the "Onboard UART Port" to disabled in the BIOS, turn off COM2;
Method 3: Some PCI network cards will force IRQ10, and some IRQ interrupt conflicts that are forcibly occupying IRQ10, which can set "Assign Irq for VGA" to disabled in the BIOS, do not assign fixed interrupts to the display card;
Method 4: Run the setup program in the network card program floppy disk, set the network card to Non-PNP mode, set the IRQ interrupt number and the I / O address as the system unwinding; and in the BIOS, the corresponding interrupt number is from the PCI / ISA is changed to Legacy Isa;
Method 5: Upgrade NIC BIOS, this method requires that the network card is used by Flash ROM, but also needs to go to the appropriate website to intercept the NIC BIOS update.
If you use the above method, you cannot resolve the fault, it is recommended to try a piece of NIC.
