These two days are written in a demand document on the inventory management system. Through this opportunity, I saw two demand documents I wrote before I wrote. Although there is a big difference between these three demand documents, I think they all write very well and achieved expectations.
Let me first say this inventory management system I just wrote, this is the main content of the second phase of the catering software we have developed. It is very simple to write, just a Word document, including two large parts: a part is a list of functions and descriptions, and the other is a list of documents and descriptions. I have wanted to add some UML graphics to this section, but my text description is already enough, there is no need to draw a snake.
Look at another document, this is a demand document for business management of catering software. The document is very standardized, from the manual process, to the system's functions, to each function description, to the system architecture, hardware requirements, development platform, etc., it also has a description of the image. It can be said that this is a standardized document, and it takes a lot of time when writing.
Finally, this document is a demand document for the process management system for another company. This document is a list of Excel, which is the final result of our multi-run combination. The list details each requirement. If it is a change, it will list the past cooking and the present request.
From the actual effect, the third Excel document is most obvious, she is very good to achieve communication with customers, and customers are easily accepted for this way. The second document is relatively bad, this document spent a lot of time in the form, especially what time consuming graphics, but there is not much benefit from everyone, and a lot of things are still discussions.
Therefore, from these three documents, the demand document does not need a fixed format, which should vary depending on the project. The purpose of the demand document is not to meet some form of need, but to achieve the purpose of management requirements. From efficiency and effect, demand documents are accurate, and it is possible.
