6. Custom list content
The list content can be set in the Customize-> Customize Project Lists.
Some default list fields are unmodified, such as a list of Statue. The list of items is stored in the all_lists table in the database, I have tried to modify the database, but the default value is still original instead of modification during use.
7. Add new fields
Customize, select Customize Project Entities, add new fields in the user fields inside.
In the program, the corresponding "Other Information item" framework will appear, there is a newly added field, saying that it is difficult to see.
8. New Construction
After the above work is done, it will find that it is based on a project. When establishing a new project, the Chinese content, the new field, etc. are not.
The solution is simple. When you build a new project, you don't use create, and use COPY, select a copy of the project that has been established and needs to be reserved. In fact, the comparison standard is to establish a standard project, establish all of the commonly used content, and then establish a new Project, the COPY standard Project is OK.
9. Problems left by Chinese
In essence, TD is English version. Later, everyone did the field patch and Chinese patch, but the essence of the English version was constant.
After Chinese, there will be some problems. One problem I encountered is Test Lab, when adding a repeated Test Plan, there will be an error. The English version doesn't have this problem, guessing is because the same record is added, the field will be automatically added before [1], [2], etc., and Chinese may have problems when adding.
10. Import content from other environment
This is primarily introduced from the Excel or Word environment to TD.
Click Add-Ins Page to select More TestDirector Add-Ins, enter the TD Additional Control Downloads page, download the Word and Execl controls and install.
Open the Excel document that needs to be imported, select Export to TestDirector in the Tool. Finally, the fields must be written to the column of the use of the field and the column of Excel.
It is also important to note that the Excel document must be standard specification and cannot have a merged cell. One line in Excel, represents an example of an example of input.
Word's processing method is quite complicated, and there is not much introduction.
