In recent years, my country's telecommunications industry has achieved great development, ISDN, ADSL, LAN and other broadband access have become very common, and there is also a big decline, so many families have access to broadband and enjoy broadband. The information gives us convenience.
But how to make the new old computer in the home to the Internet? In general, a dual network card connection is used in the environment of two computers, and Internet sharing is implemented via shared software such as ICS or Sygate; the computer is connected to the hub connection, combined with shared software to achieve sharing; small networks with higher performance require a hub solution or Switch combines router implementation. These programs either need a dedicated server to be host, or use a higher price router, not suitable for home users. But if you have a ADSL modem with routing features, it will become both economical and convenient.
The following is the configuration of the internal PPPoE routing function in Dongxin EA700ADSL.
Pre-configuration
We need to prepare: ADSL access; a telephone line; a 8-port set outler; two computers with network cards; one East letter EA700ADSL route (original separator, a-a RJ-45 interface network cable); two A-A (RJ-45 interface) five types of lines.
And connect these devices as follows: The telephone line is divided into two channels through the separator, all the way to pick up the phone, all the way to pick ADSL's DSL port. Then use a primary network cable to connect ADSL's LAN port and HUB's first RJ-45 interface. PC_A and PC_B are then used to connect PC_A and PC_B to several ports in the future of the HUB. Finally, these devices are powered up.
Process
Assign IP Address Since the DVE EA700ADSL routing default IP is 192.168.1.1, the IP address of the local area network such as PC_A must be set to 192.168.1.x (X value between 1 to 253), gateway address Set to 192.168.1.1, the subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0. This ensures that ADSL and PC_A are prepared for logging in to ADSL in the same network segment. The IP address is not assigned to PC_B.
Sign in ADSL Since the East STET EA700ADSL routing supports its configuration through the web, you will open the IE browser on the computer PC_A, enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, will immediately pop up the login dialog, in the user and password column. ROOT, then determine login.
When the communication line is logged in, the general interface of the ADSL configuration will appear. In the "System Information" column, this device has the software version, online time, up and down speed, etc. In the "WAN interface", there are seven default EOA lines, we need to choose a line for settings. The value of VPI / VCI in different regions is different, and local telecommunications can be consulted.
Make quick configuration Click Interface EOA-1 (VPI / VCI value is 0/33), enter the configuration interface. Select 1 in the interface drop-down menu, the package is PPPoE, and the bridge is set to disable.
Open the DHCP service Enter "DHCP Settings" in "LAN", select "DHCP Server" in the DHCP Mode drop-down menu.
When turning on DHCP, you can also set static IP in "DHCP Service" (by default, dynamic IP addresses range from 192.168.1.3 ~ 192.168.1.14), enter static IP in the space of the Excluded IP column (192.168. 1.3 ~ 192.168.1.14), then click "Add". The advantage of this setting is that some of the IP fixtures of certain shared computers (such as connecting printers) can be provided to provide users with convenience. Set the PPP interface Click "PPP" in the "WAN" project, then click the modified icon in the pencil style to enter the setup interface of the PPP interface. Select "PAP" in the security protocol, enter the ADSL account in the login name and password, and click Submit.
After saving all other data settings, the user must save these settings. Click "Execute & Restart" in the Manage project, click "Save". In Dongxin EA700ADSL routing, there is also a modification of management passwords, blocking protocols, setting firewalls, which provide basic guarantees for realizing network security.
Configuration
Just switch to the power supply of the hub and the ADSL modem (IP all the computer (IP is set to Auto) can share Internet access, and can access each other, and any computer shutdown does not affect other computers.
