Memory term explanation CAS
CAS is intended to column Address Strobe or Column Address Select, CAS controls the interval time of receiving the command to the execution command, usually 2, 2.5, 3 this few clock cycles. In the entire memory matrix, because the CAS is managed by the column address, this very important parameter value is based on the basis, the lower the better.
