Overview

With this add-on, you can permanently delete hidden data and collaboration data in Word 2003 / XP, Excel 2003 / XP, and PowerPoint 2003 / XP files. When you distribute Office documents in electronic form, you may contain information you don't want to share with others, such as those that are designated as "hidden", those who allow you to work with others to write documents. You can use the "Delete Hide Data" to delete personal data or hide data. These data may not be displayed immediately when you view a document in the Microsoft Office application. You can run the "Remove Hidden Data" add-in in Office XP or Office 2003 applications, or you can run the add-in to multiple files simultaneously through the command line. Install this download:

Click the Download button above to save the file to your hard drive. Double-click the rhdtool.exe program file in the hard drive to start the installer. Follow the screen guidance to complete the installation.

Instructions: After installing "Deleting Hide Data" add-on, open the document you want to check, and on the File menu, click Remove Hide Data. Note: If you do not see the "Delete Hide Data" command on the File menu, do the following:

On the Tools menu, point to Options, and then click the Security tab. Under "Macro Safety", click Macro Security. Click the Reliable Source tab. Select "All Installations and Templates" checkboxes, and then click "OK" twice in a row or after installing the "Delete Hide Data" add-on, run it by the command line. Delete this download: To delete the download file itself, delete the file rhdtool.exe.

Click Start, point to Setting, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Add or Remove Programs. In the "Currently Installed Programs" list, select Delete Hide Data Tools, and then click Delete or Add / Delete. If the dialog box appears, please remove this program as described.
