This topic tells how to use Microsoft Embedded Visual C ® Configure Platform Manager. Some steps:

Configure the platform manager

1. Open Embedded Visual C .

2. In Embedded Visual C , select the Tools menu, click Configure Platform Manager.

3. Expand the device type, then click Smartphone 2003.

4. In the Windows CE Platform Manager Configuration dialog, click Smartphone Emulator. If other Windows CE tools are also installed on your computer, the corresponding devices and platforms are listed in the dialog.

5. Click Properties. 6. The configuration options for transferring and starting the server can be adjusted. Click on the Configure button transmitted by TCP / IP to display a range of network settings; we recommend not modify the default setting item. For more information, please consult the TCP / IP Transport. Click the Configure button of the Simulator Start the server to display the Emulation Configuration Settings dialog.

This dialog allows for the following modifications: l Change the host control key (Host Key). Aculator Keyboard Shortcuts can be found. l Allow or prohibit Ethernet. Acquisition of Disabling Ethernet Support in The Emulator. l Allows a simulated port to map to the actual port on the development workstation.
